Two years after their breakup, Emma and Killian see each other again at the wedding of an old mutual friend. Emma’s had a shit couple of years, and seeing Killian again ignited something in her, making her regret ever leaving him in the first place. She leaves feeling hopeful after he invites her to a party at his place the next night. Emma wasn’t really sure what to expect, but discovering that the party was in fact an engagement party for Killian and his new fiance was definitely not it. She leaves devastated, and Killian begins to second guess his engagement after realizing Emma still has feelings for him. He has to make a decision, and he knows either way it won’t be easy. In the end, he realizes that the only way he can be truly happy is to be with the woman who’d held his heart all along.
