After their reunion, all Emma and Killian wanted to do was lock themselves into their house and not come out for days. For the first time in a while Storybrooke was peaceful and they intended to take advantage of that. 

However,
they had to make sure their guests from other realms were sent back home.  Everything went according to plan until they tried
closing the portal. It started malfunctioning sending everyone close by into
another realm. 

Luckily, they found a man willing to help them
fix the wand and get them back home. He made good on his promise and they
returned home shortly. Emma and Killian excused themselves from the celebration
at Granny’s heading straight home to catch up on lost time.
