Killian Jones is a hunter, the best there is. On the trail of a dangerous werewolf, he stops by a tavern, intending to ask a few questions, and meets Emma, a young woman with a secret.

Emma is used to hiding from hunters. She is not used to hunters with clever questions and eyes that see too much, no matter how many times she refills his glass. And as the night wears on, she realises that the werewolf he’s hunting is out there, and coming for him…
