Let’s be honest, I’m most likely never ever going to get over the way the tension falls out of Killian’s shoulders here once he’s finally got her safe in his arms.

He knows she’s ok now, he can see her, smell her, hold her, feel her weight and everything’s all right again; she’s freezing and they need to get her home but more than even that, they both just need this moment to touch first, to calm their souls, and it’s just SO BEAUTIFUL.

…I’ve always loved the way Emma touches the back of his head, too. He’s always covered in all that leather, armor like the kind she’s so familiar with… but at that moment, she wants to feel HIM, not his armor. And it just kills me T_T
