They agreed they would talk to her parents about their relationship at the annual ball, but Killian never made it. Emma was mad, not at him, but at the universe for messing up their plans. Her mood was improved greatly upon Killian’s return and the news that he’d talked to her father. The next ball they attended was held in honor of their wedding.
